World Aeronautics and Robotics, simply abbreviated as WAR, is a major organization from the One Must Fall series
Story[]
WAR was founded in at the beginning of the 21st century by Herbert Angstom, originally working as a research institute to provide human-assisted robots for space travel, with their first prototypes being put to use in 2009. After Herbert left his position at WAR the company's president position was taken by Major Hans Kreissack, who shifted the company's focus for his own personal agenda. Under Kreissack WAR grew exponentially, creating a monopoly on space travel and controlling all of Earth's space stations, eventually becoming the world's largest corporation and more or less the de facto ruler of Earth.
After the tournament on Ganymede and Kreissack's death, WAR lost much of its monopoly and influence and eventually dissipated into smaller companies, though the main branch still remained as the largest corporation. Milano Angstom, Herbert's son, would eventually assume the president position at WAR, shifting the company's focus back to what his father originally intended and rename it to Aeronautics and Robotics Technologies (ART).
